“AGOS” means to flow. Just like art that can flow through time, concept, and ideas, my work is a representation of that. Made from locally sourced materials like the trumpo ,sako, and baye wood. The trumpo ,a Filipino top, represents my childhood joys to adulthood nostalgia ,the idea of adding pointillism in it adds character to this beloved toy.The sako or brown sack is a quintessential means to carry and transport different goods all over the Country. And the baye wood which has been restored, is something Filipino women use to do their Laundry by the river. All these materials combined shows different forms of “ AGOS” in different stages of a Filipino’s life.
